Mediterranean Sea - Tower

The intricate patterns of the twisted towers are a spectacular and dizzying feat of design. A subtle but eye catching illusion is created as the twists spiral out from a central geometric base. Each tower is formed by slip-casting technique and carefully hand finished until the turns are smooth and flawless. As the towers fire in the kiln, the melted glaze is guided outwards by the spirals and hardens to form the twisted glass surfaces that make this design so alluring. Translucent green teal with turquoise highlights. Lighter blue and white tones cascade through the side pattern providing additional texture.
